In my life there are various pleasures: sleeping for example, eating straw and carrots and treats, nibbling on sofas. But one of my greatest pleasures is watching my dad play "Enter The Gungeon". Why, you may ask? Because I really like it when he dies in the video game and gets mad!

What is Enter The Gungeon? It is a roguelike video game, weapons-themed. Before starting, I leave you here the trailer of the latest and final version: "Enter the Gungeon: Farewell to arms"

The story is set in a dungeon in which, as already mentioned, everything is weapons themed. Enemies are bullets or variations thereof. The objective of the game is to make your way through the various levels (increasingly difficult) and reach the chest in which the legends tell is "The gun that kills the past". Each of the available characters has their own reasons to seek the gun, to right a wrong or to escape an enemy, to save the universe or to defeat a mad scientist! Or even to blame your brother for spilling fruit juice on the sofa and avoid mum's scolding!

Speaking of characters, we can choose 1 among 4. Each of them will have different equipment.

We will have access to the first level. Each floor is procedurally generated, this means that the layout is always different. But every time you have to kill all the enemies, find the room of the level boss, kill him and access the next floor.

The fight sequences can be very, very hectic, and it can take several "game over" before you can "finish" the game for the first time. Enemies are varied and each has their own shooting and movement patterns. The learning curve is absolutely perfect: a difficult but not excessively start and various surprises along the way can thrill and spur players to make various attempts to try to reach an increasingly distant point, until you get to defeat the Dragun and find the "The gun that kills the past"

The boss fights are also great and very challenging. The design and idea behind the various bosses is always fun and themed with the rest of the game.

My favourite character... - Image from Google

Enter the Gungeon is a game in which you can do a "run" from time to time, but in which you must never lose sight of 100% completion of the game. In fact, there are LOTS of items, weapons and even more characters, different character skins and much more! And that could even take months or years, and that obviously makes the longevity and replayability of the game very interesting. Among other things, among the alternative characters there is my favourite ...

Enter the Gungeon is suitable for both those who want a casual game or for those who love to find secrets and unlock items and are looking for a sense of completion.

In my opinion of household rabbit, Enter the Gungeon deserves 4.5 out of 5 carrots!
